Wilclay Childcare Centre has enrolled in and is under contract with the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC). The CWELCC System provides financial relief to families through government funding by reducing parent fees. By September 2025, the goal of the CWELCC funding system is to have achieved an average of $10/day for child care for children ages 0 until the month the child turns 6 years of age.
Base Fees
Base fees mean everything considered to be mandatory charge to a parent for providing child care, including everything a licensee is required to provide under the CCEYA.
Non-base fee
Non-base fee means fees charged for optional services (ie. Field trips, transportation) or any fees where a parent fails to meet agreement terms (eg. Fees for late pick up)
*Please see the supervisor for current fees schedule
*Please note that our fees were frozen as of March 2022.

Our Team
Our dedicated and trusted staff are trained and skilled in the child care field. All of our staff are certified in First Aid and CPR. Our staff continue to participate in workshops and other training opportunities, so they have up to date knowledge regarding child development and child guidance techniques. The staff are familiar with the ELECT Document and foundations of How Does Learning happen, which is a document provided by the provincial government. It is used as a resource for working with children and their families. Our teachers work diligently to observe and program for each individual, ensuring the children are provided with experiences that enhance and advance their learning. We are very Proud of our teachers and their dedication to the children and families.
